We recently stayed at Ancora del Chianti B&B for three nights. We absolutely loved the location as it was perfect for our Italian holiday! Laura and her staff made sure we had everything we needed and made our stay very enjoyable. The location was perfect for us to take day trips to neighboring towns. Ancora del Chianti is a place where the birdsong wakes you up, where you will be greeted at a delicious breakfast by the wonderful Laura who always has a good joke, a pleasant suggestion for you to have a good time that day in Tuscany, or an interesting anecdote. It is a place where the air is fragrant, the view is fantastic, the food is delicious, the atmosphere is friendly. The rooms are charmingly and elegantly furnished, with no superfluous details, just the right ambience for rest and relaxation. During our stay in Ancora del Chianti, our daughter attended a watercolor painting course at the property, which she enjoyed immensely and learned a lot. I stayed here in May with some other artists, the crew of Workshops in France and my husband. Laura and family are very welcoming and made us feel at home. All around us were beautiful scenes of the Chianti region. The stone house with its red shutters and garden made us want to stay awhile. Very inspiring for an artist like me. You feel content and peaceful there. The food is great! There is even a lovely shop with Laura’s handmade bags, local products, soft scarves and all fatto in Italia. Laura speaks several languages, making communication easy. Ancora del Chianti is a real treasure!
